Review on πŸ“· Capturing Excellence: Nikon D3200 Digital SLR Camera Body (Black) by Akmal ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good and high-quality product, but there are disadvantages.

I bought an additional battery, an M42-Nikon adapter with a lens, several ancient "screwdriver" lenses from film cameras. Old Soviet "fixes" struck with fantastic quality! It's just a renaissance of Soviet optics! A set of "screwdrivers" from old film cameras is also pleasing - they have zoom lenses, processors, and sufficient resolution. All the previous 38 years in photography I twisted the "focus" with my hands - I'm already used to "Puff" I use it very rarely - I prefer a tripod and slow shutter speed. In general, a camera for "big-headed" and "handy" photographers - it doesn't matter if they are "pros" or just amateurs. Good for landscapes, macro, still life, astrophotography. For astronomy, you will have to get good "pipes" (for example, "MTO"), guiding mounts, and stock up on "exposure" .

Pros
  • 24 megapixels, working ISO up to 800 inclusive, good camera JPG, good WB and high-quality colors (despite CMOS), great video with tracking autofocus (on motor lenses) and sound.
Cons
  • There is no "screwdriver", no high-resolution lenses with a motor, the video quickly "eats" the battery, a weak Live Wiev on the video (and there is no other way). Overpriced. If there is a "whale" 18-55G in the kit, then it will spoil everything good that is in the "carcass".
