Great product. The dual sensor version monitors the total power consumption of a typical 120/240V switchboard. You must be very careful when working on the switchboard, even when the main switch is off. The panel will still have power unless you call an electrician or utility for a temporary shutdown. If you cannot handle potentially lethal voltages, consult an electrician to install the sensors. After installing the sensors, it was very easy to set up the transmitter and receiver/control panel, although the control panel did not sync. I tried it for the first time with a transmitter. It was necessary to momentarily remove the batteries from the transmitter and repeat the initialization process before the two devices synchronized. Mine has been running for almost a year now with no problems. Since my panel is built into the drywall and is flush mounted, I decided to drill a 5/8" hole in the top of the panel and then used the hole to route the sensor wires through another small hole in the drywall Secure the connection to the transmitter module. As I moved the two large power cables (to clip the sensors around them) I noticed one thing: they both seemed to be loose where they connected to the switchboard. This is a common problem with aluminum cables. Cables expand and contract with temperature (and load) changes and can cause a fire if too loose. Luckily I had a 1/4" T-handle insulated wrench to tighten the two pins with. Note that doing this when the panel still has power is very dangerous. If your Main power wires seem loose, unless you know exactly what you are doing, consult an electrician (also note that not all switchboards use 1/4" Alan grub screws for clamping power wires). If in doubt, consult an electrician again.
