Bigger is not necessarily better when it comes to scarf holders.
IKEA sells a 9 (or 12? 16?) hole crochet scarf holder very similar to this one, only longer—for less than $8. The problem is that the scarves are hanging on top of each other. So when you have so many scarves and you hang them all together, you can't see what you have. They overlap and become quite bulky in the closet. I'd say keep a few together with a smaller hanger like this one. Maybe a few in your bedroom and a few more in your outerwear closet. This way you keep track of what options you have when getting dressed. They will not be buried among themselves.
