Review on Woods L1706 Vandal Resistant Security Light: Ceiling Mount, Silver (150W Incandescent Bulb) by Jessica Thomas

I ordered several of these for my favorite project. The first 3 arrived in a box with other parts and they are perfect, ordered another one and it arrived with a chipped thread, Amazon sent a replacement and it also arrived with 2 chipped threads! Okay, if I hadn't been trying to sell these things. 3rd time charm. EDIT: No idea what Amazon is doing - the 3rd arrived with a shipping label taped to the product box. Dang almost fell out and broke the side. The flashlight itself is ok for the price. The cage is a little rough, with a lot of burrs. The glass ball is very wavy and the threads don't grip the case well, which I think is one of the reasons for the chipping and mostly rough handling. The threaded holes in the line are well tapped and this part is great. The base of the bulb is ceramic, in case anyone is interested. it has a green ground screw and already has a threaded hole for grounding.
