I installed these on our boat to replace two LED reading lights that were installed about 10 years ago. The old ones worked, but the light output was ridiculously low. All I can say about the light output from a single LED in these new lights is wow! Very easy installation as I already had wiring since the last install. The light switch is touch sensitive, so it won't turn on and off. One touch turns on the blue ring around the button, the other turns on the light. Hold your finger on the button and the light will dim. Another touch turns off the light. Go through this again and the light will "remember" the dimming level you originally set it to. Put your finger on the button and it gets brighter. The blue night light is good, but it scares me a bit late at night. Everything I've just written could be summed up in a set of instructions, but the bulbs arrived boxed with no instructions other than a label on the red wire showing its positive voltage, which is the normal setting for 12v wiring is. I'm so glad I even removed the AC reading lights I had installed in 1999. I no longer need 120V reading lamps LED technology has improved a lot in the last decade.
