As advertised. I've seen some reports of this one 2-1/4" diameter hole required but the one I received clearly said a 2" hole saw and I measured and used a 2" hole saw with no problem. The part fits perfectly in a 2" hole. Perfect as a very inexpensive desktop hub for my computer and data cables. a good 1/4 inch hole. Even if you're not sure about your 2" hole, it won't hit unless you cut a 2-1/2" hole. The top insert that snaps into the shell is in two parts. The bottom has three different sized slots if you want to be really picky with your cables. The top pivots so you can choose one of the three holes, and helps fill in gaps when you're using a little more ground clearance than you need. pops out easily enough to replace the assembly cord.
