Review on Long Range Indoor HDTV Antenna - Amplified HD Digital TV Antenna with 300 Mile Reception, Amplifier, Supports 4K 1080P VHF UHF TV Channels by Alex Jones

I bought this product for several reasons. First off, I wanted to have an antenna that I could position to get non-pixel reception on the four main local network channels. The leaf antenna I used, ABC couldn't find most of the time. I chose this product based on the price and the 300 mile range thinking that if the unit was what it was advertised I would certainly find a place for it that would get the four channels I needed. I live in a metropolitan area of over 250,000 people and all of the towers for these four channels are within a 35 mile range (for which orange light should suffice). The product arrived quickly and had sufficient printed instructions. Connecting the antenna to my TV was easy and quick. 45 minutes after plugging it in I found a position for the antenna which along with the cord draped over the corner of my TV and using the green light setting turned on all four local channels. Based on how the product was advertised, I was expecting a much quicker and easier time for this part of the process. I even moved the antenna outside of the sliding glass door (SE orientation) to see if that would improve reception, but it didn't. Would I buy this again? We'll see how it goes in 2-3 months. I expected more than I got but what I got should do the job I need to do.
