The Polaroid Mint printer is not a very run down product in general. I've been using it for journaling for three months and it does the job pretty well. The quality of the prints themselves are really superb, they are very easy to see as they have stood the test of time and the fact that they have a strong adhesive backing is amazing but getting good images takes a bit of getting used to. Without a filter, images tend to be darker and more bluish than the original photo. Even with filters applied, color quality is never the same. The photos included are one photo I took completely ready to print using a filter I was happy with and the other is the actual print itself. Haven't found a mini printer with accurate color quality yet, and for the mint price it makes he does his job really well. The app is my biggest problem because if you don't use the preset filter and try to manually adjust the image or even try to add borders, text or stickers, the app crashes when you press the print button. I was able to get around this by taking a screenshot of the fully edited image after taking it, leaving the app quit and then just cropping the screenshot I had taken and printing that photo instead, but that was a pretty annoying mistake when I made it started first. That being said I'm leaving my rating at 5 stars as the app is not a direct reason to downgrade as I can only rate the app on its own and not downgrading the product itself which is far from the case. something that I could appreciate a messy app. There really are no complaints about the shipping! The delivery was fast and reliable, the packaging was sealed and well protected.
