Review on πŸšͺ Suptikes Draft Stopper - Enhancing Door Insulation with Stripping Insulator by Dave Hock

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Easy to cut, easy to adjust, safe and reduces light and noise

We recently replaced some carpeting in our home with hardwood floors and found that 2 of our doors were too high off the floor. I work from home and the noise level from other parts of the house was too high. I closed the door but found it didn't help much. Instead of swapping out the doors, I decided to try these door draft limiters. To my surprise and delight, they did a great job of reducing the noise from other rooms. They are very easy to cut and easy to apply. On one door I put the molding too high on the door and was afraid that if I pulled it off the paint would come off the door and it would probably never stick again. I was wrong on both counts. The strip came off easily without removing the paint and stuck back firmly. I am very satisfied with this product. I have yet to try them on external doors as I need to remove the old hardware first so I can't confirm if they are good at preventing drafts. This is my next project as at this point I know this is exactly what I wanted for interior doors. They look great on the doors (you hardly even notice they're there), they're very easy to fit, and they do a great job of reducing light and noise.
