I bought these for use in my woodworking shop to attach to various machines to add a light source and found them fully functional for my use.1. The light is bright enough for my purposes2. The flexible arm is flexible enough to move to get the best angle3. The magnetic base is strong enough to stay on machines that can be used this way. I haven't tried attaching the sticky pad to anything, but I have little doubt it will work well given the light weight of the light. There are tons of them on sale and probably most of them are the same devices from different vendors, but this particular one worked well so I have no problem recommending it.
