I have two of these. I use them at night for my bike ride home and then take them off. The usage time is currently around 40 minutes (flashing), no problem, spare batteries are still in the package. The reason I use them is to have a wider profile when cycling in traffic. I use them in addition to my front and rear bike lights. The reason for the four stars is that they could be a bit longer. I'm 5'11 and 220 lbs. While my arms aren't huge, they aren't skinny like a petite woman's, and if I were to use them for running, I'd like them to feel more secure.
