My budgie loves the mist shower; but needs a sturdy perch when he stoops, spreads his wings and spreads his feathers for moisture. This always meant that either I or my wife was in the shower with a bird on our shoulder; and the other will spray. Our rooster Aussie was pleased with this arrangement; but my wife or I ended up with a wet head. Enter Polly's Pet Feeder or Shower Bird Perch Size, Small (Blue). This humble set of plastic tubes and rubber suction cups is deceptively clever engineering. The cups are large and stubbornly stick to glass or shower tiles; and fix it firmly in the anchor tube. Meanwhile, the main tube/perch is on a hinge so it folds flush with whatever surface you're attaching it to. When you unroll the perch shower tube, the protective rubber tab at the end comes into contact with any surface the perch sticks to; provide enough tension at the base of the suction cup to make the perch very stiff. This gives the Aussie a lot of confidence standing on him. Now the Aussie is very happy to stand on a perch and take a mist bath without me in the bath. I am very happy with my purchase; and recommend this product to every bird owner.
