🐦 Small Polly's Window and Shower Bird Perch Review

I recommend this product for the following reasons: 1) It's made of plastic, so you don't have to worry about mold or corrosion like with wooden shower rails 2) It has a small toy hanger, which I really like . However, my parakeet is too weak to use it for the time being. 3) With two suction cups, it is very durable, I don't have to worry about it falling off in the middle of the bird rain.

I recently bought this perch for my Umbrella Cockatoo. I was concerned it would be too big for this despite reading other reviews. You were right, it fits perfectly, the perch is sturdy, there is a clip to hang a toy on if you wish. The one in the photo has 3 suction cups. The one I got only has 2, but it held up even while dancing on it.

My wife recently bought a green cheek and this is one of the accessories we chose for the bird. The suction cups on this perch are of very high quality and adhere perfectly to the tiles in the shower. The design is well thought out and the materials seem to be of good quality (although I did notice some rust on one screw). It will last a long time and I think it is very safe for our bird.

Overall the pole construction feels solid and looks like it could make a good shower platform when standing on something. I even went as far as washing the suction cups, tile and glass with isopropyl and putting petroleum jelly on the suction cups like the instructions say and all I have to show is some stains in my shower and on my mirror that aren't suitable for perch use. I'll look for replacement suction cups, but I have a feeling the ones that came with the kit should do the job.

Overall I am happy with my purchase. The only problem is that the main screw became rusty within 2 weeks of first use and the suction cups don't hold everything that well unless the surface is completely flat. I often move for work and stay in different rented and hotel rooms. There were times when he fell in the middle of the night and scared me to death. The perch mobility is a big plus. I just toss it in the bag with all my bird bowls and toys. I think 20€ is a reasonable price.

I bought this shower rod for my lovebirds. It is considered a small perch but could definitely hold a much larger bird than mine. It only has two suction cups but seems sturdy enough and holds up well. It rocks sideways (side to side, not up and down) and has nice little grooves on the perch itself to allow your bird to hold on and not slip off. I ordered this perch sold by Revane and the first one that stuck to the mirror but it had a sticky brown substance on it that couldn't be cleaned completely and had a few scuffs so I sent it back for replacement. The replacement was also dirty and worn and was NOT stuck to the mirror. Ok I will try again to get an exchange and I will also contact Revain to ask what they do with returned "defective" (dirty or non-working) items.
