This turtle was super cute and my GSD loved it as a Christmas present. It is well made and should hold up to light to moderate chewers. My shepherd chewed a leg off withing 30 minutes. It lasted another few hours until he discovered the squeaker in the turtle head and then it was game on. By the morning it was an empty turtle shell. Still a usable toy as it can hold treats or new materials that will keep it interesting. It did pretty good for my super chewer. Super cute and pretty tough.

My dog loves it!Hard and soft materials . shell is durable polymer plastic, the rope legs are chewable but easily replaceable. Simply thread a new rope through the legs holes, tie a not at each end so it stays in the shell.No dog toy lasts forever. But this one It is different than other dog chew toys giving you the ability to replace the soft materials when they have been used up. I have an Australian kelpie who can shew through most dog toys fairly quickly. The ropes have all been pulled out which was expected. The shell though is standing up to his power. There is a very small amount of the shell material on the edge that has been slightly chewed off but other than that the dog hasn’t destroyed this one

Cute toy but only lasted about an hour before my puppy tore apart the string legs and head of the turtle. Now it’s just a turtle shell but he still loves just that part.

so excited for this toy for my miniature Goldendoodle but was very disappointed that in less than an hour the toy was already coming apart. My dog was able to chew chunks out of the toy. So disappointed. It's suggested as a toy for aggressive chewers but this does not work. I gave it two stars because despite the low durability my dog did love the toy .

My dog is a heavy chewer and toys generally last less than five minutes. This turtle toy has lasted and he enjoys chewing on the rubber body and the ropes. He chewed the head off immediately and removed the squeaker, but that's to be expected for my boy. I'd recommend the toy - my dog loves it and it was worth the purchase.

My dog tore up the rope legs, but the body stayed in tact. We did put treats inside and they are impossible to get out, Elvis ended up bringing it to us to help him. He ripped the head off too, and proceeded to just play with the head. Hilarious and creepy.

We have a new rescue dog who needs to have her mouth continuously occupied.These turtles are great because even after the head and limbs are ripped out -- and they're SHORT pieces of rope, so a little safer if swallowed -- we can still use the turtle by putting treats in its body. This toy has lasted (headless & limbless) longer than everything but the black Kongs. Turtle's body is very durable.

The toy is a gift for a friend's dog. The package had obviously been opened, the outer packaging was resealed with packing tape, the box the toy was in was smashed and torn open. I plan to still give it as the toy seems ok, and I don't think I can reorder and get a new one before Christmas. I wonder if you sent a toy that had been returned? Not good.

My dog (a lab) destroys ALL his toys. This one has been going strong for a couple months now and was his go to during teething! Very helpful in getting those baby teeth out and also great for tug of war!

Head and tail were chewed off in 15 minutes. Base with ropes still in tact for my heavy chewer. Loves getting her treats out of the center.

I bought this as a gift for friends who have a Walker Tree Hound and a Great Dane mix. Their hound is a terrible chewer and not many toys survive him. The tail on this turtle only lasted a few hours, but the body and legs are holding up great. He loves it and goes for it often. It was an excellent purchase and I would buy it again.

My dog loves this toy. It’s sturdy and you can hide treats in it to keep your puppy busy and entertained. That's my feedback!

I was hoping it would pass the basset chew test but it only took a week or two and he had the rope unlocked and was attempting to eat them. I have not found any toys with ropes he can’t chew off.The head and shell are still holding on but overall it’s a 2-3 star toy for durability for my basset

Being advertised for the aggressive chewer, I got it. Within 5 minutes the head was ripped off, the stuffing and squeaker pulled out of it. The shell and the ropes are durable. Too bad they didn’t make the head better.

This turtle has lived so far.it’s been about 2 months and our mastiff hasn’t chewed it up yet. We''ll made but squeaker never worked so it''s not a favorite toy.. Been a pretty durable toy!

I am so happy I bought this toy. My dog has powerful jaws and has been able to rip up most of the toys I bought him so far. He hasn't managed to take this one out yet, and it's kept him busy for hours while I'm trying to get work done. On top of that, it's his favorite toy. There's a convenient treat hole on the turtle's stomach and the rope legs are pretty sturdy.

I love that he loves his turtle so much, but he gets rough with it and when you've been hit repeatedly with it, sometimes I have to put Mr. Turtle on the shelf for a time out. It's Waylon proof though, and that's saying something. He's the most aggressive chewer I've ever know and Mr. Turtle in indestructible (so far).Worth every penny.

Dog was able to easily tear apart head and tail and pull out stuffing and squeaker in less than 5 minutes. Was also able to start chewing off chunks of turtle body the first time he played with it.

My dog loved this as soon as I got it out of the packaging. The shell is very duarable and I love that you have the option to stuff it with food/treats. The only part that I would say is not very chew proof or durable is the head and tail which is just like any plush chew toy. Other than that I’m very happy with my purchase!
