At first my cat was just curious. Later he began grabbing it; throwing it; caught the mouse in his mouth; threw the toy around the room. Slid it across the room. So he gives a paws up with 4. This turtle was super cute and my GSD loved it as a Christmas present. It is well made and should hold up to light to moderate chewers. My shepherd chewed a leg off withing 30 minutes. It lasted another few hours until he discovered the squeaker in the turtle head and then it was game on. By the morning it was an empty turtle shell.
