Saw some reviews that criticized the wheel for not fitting their grinder. Before you get all huffy about cheap Chinese products not fitting your 4 1/2 angle grinder make sure you are using the correct backing plate. For my DeWalt I am using the DW4706 backing plate and everything seems to fit fine.This seems to be a fine value; yes manufacturing standards in China are not up to US standards. Bought this to be used with a Harbor Fright angle grinder. This grinding wheel is bit unusual to mount on the grinder when compared to regular disk which seats on the arbor. But this one seats above the arbor, so I tightened nut as best and the wheel seems to center well and no wobbling while operating. And it did the girding of concrete stepping stone under a door like a champ.

I have an old front concrete stoop which was coated with layers of paint (but also had peeled and ugly bare spots). I used this on a 4-1/2 angle grinder to grind away the old paint and level off the worn spots. It even took care of the original marks left by the boards when it was poured over 60 years ago.Bottom line, the stairs and landing look better than ever before. Had to cut an angle into concrete for an outbuilding on my property. The concrete was a lip that was collecting water and it was seeping into the outbuilding. This disk was able to cut the concrete very well, but for my application it did not have any cutting advantages over a standard masonry cut wheel, but was easier to control and keep from contacting the siding of the outbuilding.I have a Milwaukee 4.5" M18 grinder that I put this wheel onto and it required the little adapter ring included…

I was a little apprehensive since the cost was somewhat low but decided to try it, needed to grind some grout between flagstone patio pavers. This little wheel work like a champ, did everything I needed it to do and then some with little wear and tear on the wheel itself. It comes with an insert and my grinder has a padded wheel hub so the insert wouldn't stay in place but once I turned the hub over to the solid metal side, the grinding wheel and insert stayed firmly in place with no issues.

I bought these grinding wheels to remove old paint from concrete foundation.these are perfect for removing paint and leveling off the surface.great for opening up the pores in the concrete before primer and paint,or sealer.

Center hole was not correct diameter (needed to enlarge). Also would have been better if center hole was threaded for power grinder. Had to add a washer beneath wheel as a shim to properly tighten. Once modified, abrasion/grinding surfaces did their intended purpose. Frustrating needing to modify.

WOw WHoA. this grinder wheel is amazing. using a 4 1/2' basic grinder, installed the 4" wheel using the bushing provided and tightened down the disk nut from my grinder and everything was secure. floor tiles came loose in kitchen and couldn't match these 13" tile so had to grind off about 1/8" of mortar. fired up the grinder and this grinder wheel removed the mortar like butter down to where I could clean them up with a standard abraision wheel. this wheel still looks

Was very pleased with this tool. I used self leveling concrete on the basement floor and it was terrible. Left high spots. Used this tool to take the high areas off. Worked great!

I needed to shave down four cracks in my walkway made out of brick. This grinder really did the job. I added running water while i was grinding and it did the job. I don’t really notice any significant wear on the disc after use. Well worth the money.

I wanted to get my front porch back to bare concrete so I can stain it VS paint. This is slow but is working great and with half of my porch done, there's still plenty of blade left to finish. It doesn't fit centered initially but with the locking washer it holds just fine and for me has been centered. Do be careful as you can easily gouge the concrete if not careful. I found that using circular anti clockwise motions worked best. Just don't hold it in one spot and it works beautifully.

Had to grind an uneven concrete step near the main door- to avoid trips/falls.This worked perfectly and was really good-aggressive in removing the material.I used the DeWalt grinding wheel before that and found it very time consuming.This reduced the work in half.Used it on a 5 inch Metabo angle grinder.good tool to have in the kit.

Great deal. Does exactly what it is supposed to do. It makes a ton of dust but that is to be expected. I highly recommend purchasing a vacuum attachment to pull the dust away. I've used it heavily for several days and it still seems sharp and effective.

Worked great poured a couple stair landings for my deck. Turned out way rougher than I wanted so smoothed out the whole landings with this. Went super quick and made easy work of it. Can’t speak to longevity because it literally took a few minutes for each landing.
