I definitely recommend buying, I didnt notice any disadvantages.

the first DSLR, about which I read only negative reviews before buying, discouraged everyone with whom I spoke. I compared it with 550d, 7d and some kind of Nikon for an extremely long time. the latter immediately disappeared, the XXXd line disappeared due to the fact that I simply didn’t like the ergonomics and, as they say, “didn’t fit in my hand”, 7d is still too expensive, so I opted for the 60th, which I never regretted. all the shortcomings listed by me are not significant at all and rather relate to my requests, nothing more. I chased for 50d for a long time, when it was already taken out of production, I never found it on store shelves, although I definitely wouldn’t refuse a CF card and built-in lens alignment

my recommendation: do not read the negative reviews, which are just in bulk on the Internet, but go and buy this really high-quality thing. if there is not so much money, then as an analogue of 550d

Pros

ergonomics: an incredibly convenient arrangement of buttons, wheels, all kinds of twists, etc., after a short use, the fingers travel intuitively even in almost complete darkness; lock button on the mode wheel: a very useful thing, because. there is always confidence that you are shooting in the right mode (especially important when you need to quickly pull out a photo and start shooting); display, or rather its size + bright and rich display of colors; swivel display: to be honest, I appreciated its advantages only after a year of use, at first, too, how the vast majority rotted it, but on a crop it is a very necessary thing that gives mobility of use and a lot of opportunities, such as shooting from a low or, conversely, high point; convenient menu, which also intuitively navigates from the very first day of purchase; a small display showing the settings (although this is a merit of the XXd-line); very capacious battery: under normal weather conditions, shoots at 900-1000 shots; built-in cleaning system; sits in the hand like a glove (for example, unlike the XXXd line); build quality is amazing, but the Japanese (!); amazing HD video quality (someone may complain that the camera is only for taking pictures and the video function is not needed, but there are all sorts of moments); extremely fast response to pressing the shutter button even when the camera is in "sleep" mode (just a few milliseconds)

Cons

with the first drawback that I encountered is the instruction in the kit: it will sound funny, but on the title page it was written 50d, 60d, but in fact the instruction was devoted to 50d, so changing the ergonomics and much more and leaving the instructions for the previous model - it was just a misunderstanding (!), I had to intuitively master absolutely EVERYTHING in the conditions that it was the first SLR; the "video" mode is extremely far abandoned from manual modes, I don't know how significant this is, but it would be nice to move it immediately after or, conversely, before the manual; it’s inconvenient to choose focus points, because even with my thin fingers I constantly miss, I have to constantly scroll the wheel, which creates certain inconveniences, incl. time costs; I don’t know how it is in other models, but the focal length display is very lacking in the viewfinder: this, of course, is more likely not a drawback, but just my request, because I often shoot panoramas where it is important not to knock down the focal length
