Review on Disposable Cups Use Keurig® Brewers by Jessica Griffith

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Good concept but terrible product

Two big issues: I could only fit about 1 1/2 tablespoons of coffee into a disposable cup (whereas traditional K cups have about 2 tablespoons, which is the recommended amount). To use with 6 ounces of water and for clarification, I open a K cup of coffee bean & tea leaf and pour that coffee (1 1/2 tablespoons) into this K cup. I did this to make sure I was going to use the same grind size as for Cup k. A person could try this with any pre-packaged brand of coffee. I just used the CBTL brand because I had that at home. To be honest, I tried that too. Thing with another brand's k ready-to-use cup to make sure it wasn't just the CBTL brand coffee grounds that were causing issues with the amount of coffee I could fit into the k's disposable cup. Another (frustrating) issue I had (with both brands of coffee) was that there was a lot of coffee grounds in the cup of coffee. So the filters that come with these disposable cups are useless to protect coffee grounds from coffee.
