Good concept but terrible product

Two big issues: I could only fit about 1 1/2 tablespoons of coffee into a disposable cup (whereas traditional K cups have about 2 tablespoons, which is the recommended amount). To use with 6 ounces of water and for clarification, I open a K cup of coffee bean & tea leaf and pour that coffee (1 1/2 tablespoons) into this K cup. I did this to make sure I was going to use the same grind size as for Cup k. A person could try this with any pre-packaged brand of coffee. I just used the CBTL brand…

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Based on reviews this product has worked for some and not so well for others but it turned out to be the perfect way to cook my favorite beans without having to brew a whole pot. And I was jealous that my husband could make his favorite one-cup coffee in no time. Tried locking the lid a couple of times, then two brew attempts, but half-brewed coffee spat out at me both times. And on the third try, the water trying to flow through the cup got stuck. Yes, the water is stuck. My husband came home…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

Great idea, terrible results

Love the concept, some reviewers say the cups cracked trying to put the lid on. Well if you follow the instructions and place the mug in the sleeve provided and then put the lid on it closes perfectly and doesn't break. Love the concept of being able to make several of these ahead of time with a tight lid to keep the coffee fresh until ready to use. But this product was clearly rushed to market and I suspect it was made by someone who doesn't even use it or kcup in general. Problems: It doesn't

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable
