The shoes are super easy for a 2-year-old to put on "ALL BY MYSELF". The velcro opens and closes easily and there is also a little pull tab at the back to make it even easier for your littles to put them in. The shoes are a bit on the heavier side though. I especially like the tab, velcro, and durable rubber toes. This little one has scuffed the toes out of more shoes than I care to count! 4 Stars. Hope you find this review and pictures helpful. There is a small manufacturing flaw in one of the shoes. Still, she loves them! Perfect for daycare!
