I ordered these for my Etsy shop. They were terrible. I couldn't sell them. I painted them with acrylic paint and heard the wood crack. They are very thin and very light. Since I couldn't use them for my project, we found a use for them. My girls could use them to make decorations for their grandparents and teachers. They are quite small, about the size of the palm of my hand. The bark is easy to remove. I didn't try sealing them to see if it would improve the rind. That can help. The jute was good but I didn't use it. I used yarn.
