not suitable for walnuts
This item looked used when I received it - the ends of the wooden handles looked worn and looked like they had been used before. However, I was still okay with this because I needed it for the walnuts in shell. Terrible. That does not work. Walnuts don't fit in. At best, you get a small hole in the end of the walnut shell, but certainly not enough to remove and eat without too much trouble. My family is in the walnut business and they could tell right away that it wasn't a very good business. Do not buy!
