Review on Wilton Scoop-It Batter Spoons: Set of 3 for Effortless Baking Bliss by Piyush Ventura

This set is characterized by Wilton quality and design. I bought these because of the difficulty of filling the 24 cupcake mini pan, thinking that the conical shape would make it less messy than using a measuring cup or spoon. However, I think an ice cream scoop would be more effective. Some of the dough I make is too stiff for this spoon and is no more effective for these types of dough than a regular 1/4 cup measuring cup. I don't waste time filling a scoop 24 times to fill 24 cavities. I use an oval milk jug with an oval spout (used in Canada to pour 1 liter packets of milk). It's much faster and less messy. However, my preference does not detract from the quality and intended use of these shovels. They are suitable for normal cake batter. Now we use them instead of serving spoons for fruit salad and other dishes. The spatula's soft edges come in handy for scraping the sides of the bowl.
