I only gave this one star to get people's attention. A number of 2001-2004 Toyota and Lexus vehicles were supplied with this AC clutch relay, part number 90987-02022, which was found to be faulty. Lexus and Toyota have issued service bulletins recommending replacing it with a Toyota relay part number 90987-02028. If your AC light is flashing and AC is not working, please refer to the relevant service bulletins below before purchasing this unit to see if you really need part #90987-02028. Applicable Toyota vehicles: 2001-2004 Camry, ECHO and Celica; 2002-2004 4Runner, Corolla and MR2 Spyder; 2003-2004 Highlander, Matrix, Sienna and Solara Applicable Lexus vehicles: 2002-2004 ES 300 and ES 330; 2003-2004 GX 4701 Locate the A/C clutch relay. (My note - It's mostly under the hood in the fuse box and is marked "MG CLT" for the magnetic clutch)2. Check the part number printed on the side of the relay.A. If the part number is 90987-02022, replace the relay with a Response Relay P/N 90987-02028.B. If the part number does not match 90987-02022, diagnose problems using the Technical Information System (TIS): Model Year and Vehicle Repair Manual: Air Conditioning: Troubleshooting. A NOTICE.
