Broke after 1st use

My grandson loved it and I monitored him the entire 10mins that he used it in my pool. Few days later, propeller started spinning on its own and wouldn't stop until I took out battery. Nobody touched it after 1st use and it sat under the patio on a table for days. Just started spinning by itself. Swapped batteries the next time my grandson came over and it did same thing. Couldn't control it by remote because propeller had a mind of its own. I was past the return period because I don't get to see my grandson often due to distance so I'm out of luck and no return
