Review on πŸ”Œ Kingston DataTraveler 70 32GB USB-C Flashdrive: Portable & Lightweight with USB 3.2 Gen 1 Speeds (Black) by Chasmum Kumar ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

A little disappointed, a bad purchase.

I took it as a file cleaner, try a type-c drive for a laptop (it has 3.1 gen 1). Probably, it was worth immediately paying attention that the manufacturer did not indicate the speed anywhere in the specifications - otherwise it would be completely embarrassing. With an empty drive, synthetics show normal speeds, but as soon as you start filling them up, they fall. Linear recording: a little less than 5% are written at 28 mb/s, and then it drops to 9 mb/s. Recording 12 GB of 300 MB video files took 25 minutes and dropped to 6 MB/s. It will do for small files, but this is clearly not what you expect from a usb 3.2 drive. Production - Taiwan. I hope that with such heating it will last its 5 year warranty.

Pros
  • Low price - 400 for 64 GB; a tight cap that is hard to lose and sometimes even remove; Nice matte plastic body
Cons
  • It gets very hot during operation (somewhere around 45 degrees according to sensations); Low write speeds

A flash drive is like a flash drive, I chose it visually and by brand. Everything suits me. The price tag is the best option in the segment.

Different pros: Ergonomic design, comfortable to grip. Good material and design. Got cons: Due to the fact that the cap is transparent, it was accidentally not replaced and crushed on the second day.
