Great for general use
Purchased to back up several other drives. They ran at around 100MB/s when backed up via USB-C and worked great. The additional case was a bonus and allowed me to print a screenshot of the folders on the drive and keep it safe and sound, along with the drives and necessary cables. Lacie drives are premium and preferred over other available drives. If you're looking for speed when using the disk for file work, there are faster options available, but for backing up completed jobs with Safe Storage, this is the way to go.
