very thin skin lots of foam. All I know is that these sandals don't last more than a year or two. I bought two pairs of Rockport slides 12-14 years ago and the first of those two pairs ended up being so worn that I had to throw them away. The best 2 pairs of sandals I've ever had. So I bought them and as soon as I unpacked them I knew they wouldn't last more than a year or two. now they are very cheap compared to a few years ago when they used thicker leather and better construction! I have to look elsewhere to find the quality and style I'm looking for. These companies just don't understand that as long as there is quality, we don't mind paying more. Remember, buy cheap, get cheap. I should have guessed when I saw that the price remained the same as it was twelve years ago. Guilty! only information for those looking for the quality Rockport used to have years ago.
