Review on MOTOPOWER MP68993 Cigarette Lighter Adapter by Jay Arnold

My wife drives a beautiful 1999 Miata, her pride and joy. Well, even pride and joy sometimes need to be sucked off. I have a 12v vacuum for use in our cars and it uses an old fashioned 12v cigarette lighter plug for power. Well, in the Miata you have to turn on the ignition to engage the cigarette lighter, which can be a problem. The Miata's battery is in the trunk of the car and I added a charging cable a long time ago to keep the battery charged when it's not driving. This Motopower adapter plugs directly into the same end of the cable as the charger, so I can plug the vacuum in the trunk without having to get in the car and turn on the ignition. In fact, this adapter can be used in many different ways if you need that kind of flexibility. It is very convenient to have such adaptability in the car. The price was great too!
