I used this vacuum cleaner 6 times when it started smoking. I thought it was roller skates because of my wife's long hair. nope! I opened up the unit and dirt and debris accumulated in the carpet brush head itself, causing the motherboard to short out. The return date has already passed, so I'm SOL. The device itself seemed cheap, made of inferior plastic. I advise against buying this device. Absolute rubbish!
