See I have no idea where all these 'good' reviews are coming from. I ordered it expecting the best of the best. My last car wash was about 2 years so I was happy with that, but this one was 30 percent cheaper and had better reviews. I bought it thinking I was getting a quality product. Not as much. During the first wash I had 3 critical issues. First, the lightweight plastic fittings that hold the "stick/handle" together are flimsy. They are so thin that the handle wobbles when fully extended. However, the pen itself is so thin that every brush stroke risks bending the metal, plastic or whatever material. If it's metal, it's a little firmer than aluminum foil, and if it's plastic, it's about the consistency of a milk jug. Anyway, it looks like a paper machete and to be honest I have the impression I bought this item on a dollar store sale. Second, the bumper came loose around the brush, which probably should be high-quality rubber but is actually more plastic than rubber, when I was cleaning my Jeep's back door. Unfortunately it took me a few seconds to figure out what was going on and I blended the color pretty well with the HARD EDGY plastic brush. Yes, a scratch, but being a Jeep I'm not too upset. Just pissed that my new brush, which was supposed to take things to the next level, broke on the first wash. The third problem is perhaps the most annoying. A jeep wash, and by the end of the wash, the bristles on the brush were damaged beyond repair. Like little plastic straws, bent and crumpled. These are not "correctable" bends, they are permanently bent fully horizontally in relation to the rest, and some are either compressed to nat or left in a bucket of soap. Literally plastic waste. I don't know, the brush looks like the picture but it didn't last a single wash. Wash once. There's no chance I'll ever risk using this thing again for fear of completely deflating the hose or even injuring myself if one of the plastic fittings comes loose and the handle fails. This is an example of how NOT to trust some of these reviews. Either we are talking about a complete scam or totally biased reviews. Take my advice, go the other way.
