Review on Sound Bar JBL Bar 2.0 All-in-One Black by Hideo Ebara ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like everything, the price and the quality are both ok.

Purchased for use with the television in a 16m2 room. Connect using the HDMI ARC port. Although I didn't make a decision right away, it turned out that I needed to enable the sound output function via HDMI on the TV by going into the settings. Although there is sufficient loudness, the music itself does not have a WOW effect. The sound coming from the speakers that are built into the TV, which was reminiscent of a saucepan, has definitely improved significantly. Nevertheless, neither the bass nor the volume can be sensed. It is obvious that there is not a full-fledged subwoofer in this location, and I was aware that there would not be any significant bass; but, I believe that my little JBL Flip 4 helps to smooth out the bass, and the sound as a whole is significantly improved. It is strange, but when music is played via bluetooth from a smartphone, this soundbar produces a more refined sound overall. The bass plays with more prominence, and the high frequencies are more pleasurable to listen to. When listening to music on an on-air television station dedicated to playing music, the sound is already shifting and is less saturated. In general, I anticipated the purchase to result in a sound quality that was significantly more serious. There is something that can be compared to, and one was able to listen to sound that was of a truly excellent quality. When viewed in this light, the price of 8000+ dollars appears to be a little steep. Somewhere between five and six thousand; that seems to be her range. The equalizer is not something that can be tightened because it does not exist. When I attached this soundbar to the TV, the equalizer that was already integrated into the TV stopped working. Everything else, including pairing, connecting, and switching between BT and TV, is fantastic, and the UI is very user-friendly and straightforward. In conclusion, the sound coming from the TV has, without a doubt, significantly improved and is now much more pleasurable. But in general, I was anticipating a device with a better sound quality (especially after getting acquainted with JBL portable speakers and some other more expensive speakers). Before making the purchase, a comprehensive test could not be conducted. I'm going to keep this to myself for the time being. When I'm older, I'm thinking that maybe I'll acquire something that's a bit more serious and in a different price range. It is unfortunate that the placement of the television does not make it possible to connect a bar with a subwoofer in this room. This pub is appropriate for patrons with a moderate level of musical sophistication. But as soon as we hear a truly fantastic sound, we are all tempted to try it out for ourselves.

Pros
  • Design and construction of a minimalistic nature, along with the provision of a wall marking template and an HDMI cable.
Cons
  • The sound quality isn't great, and there aren't any frequency modifications you can do (no equalizer).
