Review on 🔍 TetraPond Replacement Pre-Filter Foam for Tetra Water Garden Pump, 1-Inch Diameter (Model: 46798190172) by Felicia Evans

I need a medium sized sponge filter replacement sponge (20 gallon recommendation) from Aquarium Co-op. Unfortunately I bleached my sponge after a suspected TB/fish mycobacteria outbreak and the bleach has rendered the sponge sticky and unusable. Aquarium Coop doesn't sell the sponges separately from the entire filter set, but my other plastic parts were fine, so I went in search of a suitable replacement. It's about 2 inches too big, but I was able to easily trim it with scissors and it fit nicely in the inner plastic frame. The pore size is slightly larger and the OD is slightly larger but it fits together well and the price was great! Haven't tried it in a tank yet as it will fit in my backup quarantine tank if needed but I think it will work very well.
