Great vest for the price. It is ideal for fishing, hiking, travel, photography or shooting. Plenty of pockets, both inside and out, for pretty much anything you might want to carry, including a full-size concealed firearm. I carry a full size Simi Auto 45 pistol in the inside and outside pockets of this vest. Whether you plan to carry it indoors or out, external trash pockets keep your firearms "marks" free. This vest is very lightweight so it can be worn in warmer climates if you choose to wear a t-shirt underneath. If you buy a larger size vest, it can be worn over heavy long sleeve jackets or shirts. The small white fly fishing patch on the left chest pocket can be folded into the pocket when you want to hide it. There is a large cell phone pocket on the left side of the vest. There are two large inner pockets on the left and right side of the vest. These pockets close with small Velcro straps and are large enough to hold a laptop or other bulky equipment. The inside pockets of my vest are 12.5 inches wide and 9.5 inches deep. The vest has a front zip fastening including a small pull tab that can be used to keep the vest closed if you wish to wear it without the zip. It also has a small hook and loop fishing rod loop located on the left outside of the vest. I ordered a 2XL vest to wear with a light jacket. I can also wear it with a t-shirt, although it's a bit loose. I usually wear an XL shirt.
