Attention photographers! This is what you are looking for

It may have exceeded my expectations 17 zipped or velcro pockets Large rear zipped pocket for iPad or small laptop Internal zipped lapel pocket for wallet and/or iPhone 4 large external zipped pockets Pockets for lenses, flashes, filter cases, maps, rain covers, etc. Smaller external pockets with velcro for spare batteries, memory cards, cables, iPhone, business cards, notepad, pens, sunglasses, etc. .Perfect Perfect Perfect

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • It's OK

It's not perfect, but I didn't pay a few hundred dollars for it.

This vest is quite suitable for my photo materials. It's not perfect, but I didn't pay a few hundred bucks for one with waterproof vest pockets and mesh all around. It gets better when it gets colder, I'm wet with sweat after a good photo expedition in nature. The bags aren't soft, so the lenses need to be in some sort of case. The fabric is unlikely to protect against heavy rain. However, it allows me to explore whether I want to invest in something more expensive.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • There are problems

Very Nice Photographic Accessories Vest

I use these vests for photography and carry accessories like lens cleaners, filters, spare batteries, memory cards etc. and even some of my own smaller lenses as I don't use a backpack when I'm shooting. I've had a lot of them and some of them are very high quality like Orvis but they are heavy. Others that you see all over Revain are nice and light, but very flimsy - zips and pockets tear. This seems to be a good middle ground. Less weight but still feels sturdy. I took it to Antarctica, so Iโ€ฆ

I like big ones that are comfortable all day

Finally a vest that lives up to the label. Heavy material and strong seams. Finally after 3 more vest purchases. XXL is how it should be. The others bought in size XXL barely fit the guy I gave them to. He weighs about 5.9, maybe 165 pounds. At 230 and 6'2 I can wear light extra clothing under my vest. I like the large sizes for all-day comfort. Go a size smaller than you think you'll carry. Incidentally, I can carry a large Sekonic 758 meter, a Hasselblad 150 lens and a couple of magazines inโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to slip on
Cons
  • Expensive

I love the vest and use it often!

Revain had a lot of waistcoats to choose from! I'm glad I chose this one. I'm sure some others are just as good, but this is a very functional photo vest! Holds multiple lenses including my telephoto lens, batteries, filters etc. So many pockets I usually put my phone and wallet in the zipped pocket! I'm not a big fan of stashing my laptop or notepad in the pocket on the outside of my lower back, but I was comfortable wearing a light jacket on shoots that transitioned from day to cooler nights.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Expensive

Get over style and carry on as carry-on

So I carry my "third bag" as carry-on. I can't imagine flying without it. But my wife doesn't like my "style". understands that I just love all these bags. Carry snacks, glasses, noise canceling headphones, wallet, boarding passes; iPhone Juice Packs, all sorts of things I can access on a flight without having to deal with bags under the seat or over my head. Bonus Feature: Slip your wrists through the armholes to form a chest strap. who needs a seat armrest. Save the middle seat! Yes! Plusโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great value for money

  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Rothco Uncle Milty Vest

Great vest for the price. It is ideal for fishing, hiking, travel, photography or shooting. Plenty of pockets, both inside and out, for pretty much anything you might want to carry, including a full-size concealed firearm. I carry a full size Simi Auto 45 pistol in the inside and outside pockets of this vest. Whether you plan to carry it indoors or out, external trash pockets keep your firearms "marks" free. This vest is very lightweight so it can be worn in warmer climates if you choose toโ€ฆ

Nice vest at an affordable price

EDIT: 11-2014 Having used it on an overseas trip to South East Asia I can say I am very happy with it and I would have no hesitation in buying it again . The zippers are a little less durable than I would like, but they hold up well and don't come loose or stick. The pockets have an elastic at the top that keeps things from falling out of the pockets even when the pocket flap isn't closed and has been a lifesaver on several occasions (it saved me from losing my wallet and a few other largeโ€ฆ

The best EDC/travel vest I have ever found.

I'm 5ft 7in and about 200lbs. I was a little confused by the size as some people said it was bigger and others said it was smaller. I chose the <big> because that's what I wear in t-shirts. I ordered it on 02/28/2017 and received it on 09/03/2017. As soon as I received it I put it on and it fit perfectly. looks nice. The fishhook patch comes off because it's held to the pocket with velcro instead of being sewn on, which is a big improvement over the last two styles of vests I've had. This

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Good but not great
