The bad news in cycling is flat tires. Eventually this will happen with normal bicycle tires. However, there are three ways to practically negate your chances of getting an apartment. Tires with built-in puncture protection, tires, mud, or a combination of the first two with mud. I ride my bike and sometimes mountain bike. I'm not sure how many times the slime has saved me from a roadside fix, but I know for sure three times. Twice I've noticed that one tire is 20-30 psi lower than the other. I saw no spikes or glass. I imagine how the slime sealed the tire. I inflated the tire and it never lost air again. However, this does not work for large punctures. I had a big puncture and the slime sealed it up, but it kept tearing as I drove. Every 2-3 miles I had to stop and pump up the tires again. It was about 90 degrees outside so I really didn't want to stop and change tubes. slime works. Now minuses. The slime can get a little dirty when changing and clog the pumps. I use a cheap pump on my slime bikes. So which is better, slime or tires? I think I'm leaning toward Mr. Tuffy's rubber insoles, but everyone has their own. Add slime to your tire and you're sure to reduce or completely eliminate punctures.
