You should have listened to the person who said don't waste your time and money. I just got mine for my granddaughter, I tried walking down the stairs it's not long enough so of course I played around. Seems to only be used for proteins I don't have this problem with. Unless I can use it for something that isn't as wide or as tall as a regular staircase. Also, this one smells awful and leaves oil on your hands because that's the material it's made of. I suggest if you don't care but just want a silver one it might not be oiled
