Bought them a few times to embroider. They are very nice to look at and have no drawstrings that interfere with hanging. I embroider in other embroidery frames, but this one works well for framing. The hoop is strong and holds the fabric tight. It may be a little tricky when using it for the first time, so I suggest having a friend hold the fabric for you the first time or two. I wanted to make sure my fabric would never come loose, so after laying this hoop's fabric on, I cut off most of the excess and hot glued the rest to the inside of the frame. That way I don't have to worry about it coming off and the backside looks clean. I've read other reviews that said they sewed it on, but it's even easier for those of us who aren't that great at sewing. Overall I think this is a good product for the price.
