Disastrous - Shampoos

As a child I always had greasy hair and had to wash it every day as we only used cheap shampoos and conditioners from the pharmacy. When I was young I struggled to find a balance for my increasingly dry and brittle hair and eventually settled on natural shampoos. I have been using natural liquid shampoos and conditioners for almost 15 years which have not only improved the health and texture of my hair but have also helped with my oiliness problem. when I have air-dried or blow-dried my hair after washing. My hair grew like crazy, it was soft and shiny, had a lot of volume and now I even have curls. The only issue I had was that they are packaged in plastic bottles so I was confident I would try natural shampoo bar (no container and no junk). The old fashioned shampoo was the closest thing to my liquid shampoo ingredients so I figured this one would be perfect and give me the same results. When it arrived I used it immediately. I lathered with my hands because if you have curly hair, applying it directly to the hair can cause massive tangles. After applying it to my hair and leaving it on for a few minutes, I washed it off and noticed that my hair became sticky. I thought maybe it's because they're new. I could only walk 1 day before the oil was terrible. I wash my face again and the stickiness gets worse and now my hair is falling out in clumps in the shower (oh shit!). After drying my hair with this soap it became dull and lifeless and looks like it did when I bleached my hair when I was 15 (looked like straw) and my curls are completely gone, frizzy and oily at the same time but I have oil , 3 Wait days and wash again. My hair is so sticky that I can run my fingers through my hair without pulling it out. I have to use the deep conditioner I kept in my closet years ago the last time I dyed my hair to be able to even rub it with my fingers in the shower while my hair is still falling out in clumps. I let my hair air dry again and noticed my head was a little itchy and burning. I looked at my scalp in the mirror and noticed dandruff and red blisters on my scalp. Despite everything, I would not recommend this product. There is no reason why a natural product should have such an effect on the scalp and hair, especially when it is a truly natural product. I don't have any allergies and I don't have sensitive skin, so. I will no longer use this bar.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
