These hangers are beautiful and durable. The clips are strong and hold up well. I have the mahogany color with gold hardware and they look nice. I buy them every few months when I'm redoing the closet for all of our pants. So far they've held up well. There are no chips in the tree, none fell apart. All you have to do is dust/wipe down their tops. I have no idea how the closet can get dusty, so every few weeks I just give the tops a quick wipe down. In any case, these hangers are quite flimsy and take up as much space as plastic hangers with metal clips. Unlike the plastic ones, they don't get tangled up or make you want to shake them to death, which is why I bought them. You are very well brought up.
