I've had good experiences with DLink products in the past in terms of combination of features and price, but stay away from this particular router. Dlink should have tested the product much more thoroughly before releasing it. The original firmware (January 2005) is riddled with bugs and two attempts to upgrade to version 1.2 rendered the router unusable. DLink support tried to help but they don't seem to be aware of the issues with this particular router and the answers I received didn't help at all. After sorting through two routers, I took them back to the store and bought the Airlink SuperG AR420W at half price (discounted) and it worked flawlessly the first time. I like the feature set and the beautiful web interface, but there are bugs. are too serious and make the product unusable: 1. DNS not working after a short time 2. Incorrect list of DHCP clients 3. Firmware update makes the web application die on the router.
