Works best in chargers and adapters

My mother's puppy chewed on my original power adapter. I looked through a number of options on Revain and read the reviews and finally settled on this one. I've had it for a few months now and have never had a problem with it. I have a Dell Inspiron 7779 laptop.

Working Chargers and Adapters

The numbers on the adapter do not match what I ordered. So I plugged it in to make sure it was still working. It does. Let's hope this goes on for a long time and there isn't a problem I haven't seen yet. I don't like it when Revain replaces products.

Fits my Dell Optiplex 3050 MFF. (Microform Factor)

I bought a used Dell Optiplex 3050 MFF microcomputer and it was missing the power supply. Sits perfectly, nice and tidy, will not fall out or loosen over time.

We had a previous Dell charger that broke and the computer no longer recognized it as "genuine ".

Our previous Dell charger failed and the computer no longer recognized it as 'genuine' so it refused to charge. This new charger worked perfectly and I can use my laptop again. Overall, I'm not thrilled that Dell is adding these pointless locks to their computers since my old adapter was still outputting the correct voltage and amperage. I

Works exactly like what came with my laptop. Not shocking as it's from Dell! What I *really* wanted was an adapter so I could use my old Dell PSUs with my new laptop's miniature plug.

The insulation broke within a day.

After a few days of short use, the insulation on the cable broke. Now the charger will not charge if the cable is not in the right position. However, the cable fits my Dell Inspiron laptop as promised (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01L8PENQM/ref=cm_cr_othr_mb_bdcrb_top?ie=UTF8). It's surprisingly hard to find charging cables for these laptops, so this might be your only option.
