We had a previous Dell charger that broke and the computer no longer recognized it as "genuine ".
Our previous Dell charger failed and the computer no longer recognized it as 'genuine' so it refused to charge. This new charger worked perfectly and I can use my laptop again. Overall, I'm not thrilled that Dell is adding these pointless locks to their computers since my old adapter was still outputting the correct voltage and amperage. I
