Review on Renewed Samsung Galaxy Note 9 with 128GB in Midnight Black for AT&T Network by Ada Banas ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied with the product, it is made well, the price is also pleasing.

If the pre-installed Facebook on my previous Galaxy Laptop-5 made it startlingly slow right out of the box, then everything about this one was a step above from that. After connecting the new device to your phone account, all of your contacts and even some of the settings were faithfully transferred to the new device, making the transition to a new phone simple and uncomplicated. On the other hand, after I got into the pre-installed software, I went through and carefully removed everything that I wasn't going to use. Naturally, I settled on the idea of using my fingerprint as the password. It turns out that this process did not boost security nearly as much as it served as a cheap show-off for people who were too lazy to enter in a password. The total number of fingerprints that can be stored on the phone is 4. It was quickly clear that the location of the fingerprint scanner was not ideal; the glass of the cameras was frequently broken as a result of the constant activity. Yet, a person is the kind of creature that can get used to anything, and after a few days I was already able to put my finger on the scanner tolerably, almost entirely avoiding touching the glass of the cameras. After that, on Samsung's recommendation, I registered for an account on their dedicated website. From there, you can manage some of the security settings on your phone, determine its location, etc., etc. I attempted to determine the location of my phone on the map of Hong Kong on multiple occasions, but I was unsuccessful (in addition, the phone should have been able to determine its location on its own). The Samsung website appears to have been designed by a little boy in a rural schoolyard. To promptly address the remaining issues (the signs ran out) slow motion is more for showing off than it is for any practical use, and rustic style is the aesthetic choice. The notion of causing the fewest possible surprises for users is not being respected. Now, let me start with the thing that makes me fail the most. Navigation bar settings. You can't manufacture something white out of a milk carton! The wretched Korean designers have created a set of colors to complement the color scheme palette of the screen, but they don't use eReaders to read books. When using the night mode, the navigation bar emits a bright plume that can be bothersome to the eyes. I am appreciative of the fact that you considered making it retractable. Now I'm irritated because I have to make an additional movement in order to bring up the menu, which, in my opinion, should always be displayed on the screen.

Pros
  • The phone is quick, it has a sizable screen, and it fits nicely in the palm of your hand (in my big hand) battery with a high capacity
Cons
  • buttons that are overly thin and unpleasant. Location of the fingerprint sensor was a complete and utter fail. goofy navbar color set
