Disappointed in Cricut Vinyl

I thought I'd buy a good product because it's Cricut. Boy was I wrong! I used purple vinyl and cut according to directions as I always do and was unable to saw through because the letters came out of the excess vinyl without sticking to the glue. When I was finally able to weed, after 3 tries it didn't transfer to the tape! I will not buy this brand again.
