Review on Logitech G G502 Proteus Spectrum Gaming Mouse by Adam Edison ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It was a reasonable purchase, I will order more.

I've been staring at this model for a long time, but after almost half a year of looking for a mouse, the choice was between the steeseries rival 600 and this one. g502 fits better in the hand. by and large, I consider the problem with the wheel to be a really big drawback - the stopper clearly cannot cope with the long-term blocking of the heavy wheel. in any case, I don’t regret the money spent and I will recommend the mouse, but alas, the mouse did not work for all 5 points. I repeat, 2 months of normal operation of the wheel is too little.

Pros
  • 1. shape; 2. sensor; 3. wagon profiles dpi; 4. wheel with 2 modes (smoothly switch to disadvantages).
Cons
  • 1. the wheel is heavy, hard, for the first 1-2 months it clearly clicked, each shift of the wheel was clearly registered. further, the lock begins to loosen up, the wheel begins to break through the lock, the sensations are much worse. for reliability - the blocking works, and the wheel does not roll off somewhere, but 1-2 extra passes periodically happen + the wheel as a whole does not go as tight and hard; 2. The dpi profile switching and wheel lock buttons are located close to each other and are very easy to press, which regularly leads to unpleasant moments of sensitivity return.
