Review on ๐Ÿ›ด Kids 3-Wheel Scooter for Ages 3-5, LED Light Up Wheels, Adjustable Height, Lean to Steer, Extra Wide Deck, Rear Brake - Ideal for Boys and Girls by Cory Whitney

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A Bit Chinsy, but OK for the Price.

This is an OK scooter for the price. It's not the greatest quality, but it'll do for a little kid's starter scooter. The weight limit is 65 lbs, but the plastic base that the child stands on is rather thin and chinsy. My 5 yr old weighs about 38 lbs and is 3ยฝ' tall. I had to adjust the handlebar height up to the 3rd notch. There are only 4 notches, so hopefully she'll probably out grow the height before hitting the weight limit. The handle height is easy to adjust. Turn the black piece counterclockwise to open/loosen. Then pull the bar up or press down. Each time the bar catches at a notch, simply press in the metal nub and pull/push again until you reach your desired height. Then turn the dial clockwise to lock in place. This scooter steers fairly easy. Instead of turning the handle bars, they get tilted to one side or the other. The handlebar comes off (press the white button at the base) and the handle stores under the board in a strap. This is useful for travel/storage. This isn't as handy as some of the other scooters that have a handle that just turns and folds, but this scooter is less expensive than those.

Pros
  • ๐Ÿ›ดLean to Steer - The 3 wheel scooter is equipped with lean to steer mechanism which mean the scooter can be controlled by kids weight leaning rather than turning, make the riding fun and easy for kids to play with. This will help to train kids coordination and balance skills that will last a lifetime. The low-to-gound design gives kids more safety and confidence, allows them to learn how to ride without any fear of losing control.
Cons
  • The LED lights may be distracting to other pedestrians or drivers on the road
