Installation was easy and the stand feels solid, but I added my own extra front support. I tried both Displayport and HDMI, I didn't see any difference. However, since I can't achieve digital audio separation with Display Port, I use HDMI for my amplifier with an audio extractor inline from my computer. To do this, I have to mute the built-in speakers. They're not great, but that's to be expected from most monitors. The menu buttons are a bit easier to use than on my previous monitor, but not by much. This is something you'll have to deal with on all monitors unless you're getting a screen display that your computer is driving. The brightness is high and I had to lower it to 65 and increase the contrast to 60.
