I received and installed this product just over an hour ago and it looks great. When I saw they were supposed to be delivered today I cleaned the places where I was going to install them with denatured alcohol. It saved me some headaches from not doing it up front. I don't need a sticky emulsion. I bought them for decorative lighting in my 28ft RV trailer and they are almost bright enough for constant lighting. Yes, I only know that when it is connected to the mains. There can be some confusion as to which app to download as this Revain page says one thing and the nicely printed manual says another. Download the Happy Lighting app recommended in the instructions. No disappointments, the app recognized the light straight away and all options are available. I almost forgot the infrared remote, I just removed the battery tab and it works great too. At least in this trailer I don't have to worry about being out of range. I am sure that I will have a lot of fun with these lights and will offer this special light to anyone who is interested.
