I bought this to replace an old Craftmade 7066TX ceiling fan in my bedroom. This remote control works with the existing receiver in my fan. Also note that you only get the remote control and stand; This item does not include the receiver. If your old fan remote has a blue switch box in the battery compartment with 4 switches, this remote will most likely work with it. I bought two of these to replace my 13 year old ceiling fans (originally purchased from Home Depot). They look almost identical to the manufacturer's remotes (the original remote didn't have a "backward" button. The buttons are much better and more responsive than the original remotes.
